How to add your signature to a completed lesson

The Danish Road Traffic Authority (Færdselsstyrelsen) requires the driving instructor's signature as documentation of completed instruction on the student's P23 or module plan. In Startkørekort, you provide the signature by confirming the student's attendance and, after a driving lesson, recording the learning objectives you covered.

Startkørekort uses the signature you saved when you created your account. You do not need to choose a document or field yourself. Once the lesson is fully registered, Startkørekort automatically places your signature in the relevant location on the student's P23 or module plan.

For a single lesson, your signature must be registered no later than 24 hours after the lesson ends. Otherwise, the student receives a full refund and you are charged a fee of DKK 20.

Find the lesson#

Open Home. If a lesson needs your signature, the app automatically opens a screen where you confirm the student's attendance. Check the student's name, the lesson and the time before continuing.

Add your signature#

For theory, first aid and other lessons, select the checkmark if the student attended. This registers your signature. If the lesson did not take place, select the cross.

For a driving lesson, select the arrow next to the lesson. Select Lesson conducted if the lesson took place, then continue with Next.

Record learning objectives after a driving lesson#

After you sign a driving lesson, the app asks you to select the learning objectives (legal requirements) covered during the lesson.

Select at least one learning objective. You can select an objective again even if the student completed it previously. Finish with Confirm.

When the lesson disappears from the list, your signature is registered. Startkørekort takes care of the rest in the student's documents.
